From 4 April – 9 May 2025, Helios was presented at Liverpool Cathedral, the largest cathedral in Britain and the 5th largest in the world. A specially curated programme of events accompanied the artwork, which rose in the Well space of this majestic Grade I listed building.
They had an incredible 85,473 visitors to the exhibition when it was there!
In 2018, Luke’s Museum of the Moon was presented in Liverpool Cathedral as part of the Tall Ships Regatta. In just 7 days, an incredible 60,000 people came to bathe in the moonlight and 15,000 people visited on the final day. Then in 2019, Luke’s Gaia earth artwork was presented as part of the city’s River Festival. In just one month, over 200,000 members of the public visited the artwork, breaking the cathedral’s attendance records up to that point.
